My truck camper is the best. The "best" for me that is. It's lightwieght, as I only have a 1/2 ton. And also was fairly cheap, compared to other campers, so it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Only use it about 3-4 weeks total a summer. Now if I owned a higher capacity truck, then it wouldn't be the best. If I wanted to spend more money, it wouldn't be the best. But for my needs, it's the "best". Junky..........

i don't have any truck camper, because i live in hong kong. it is no truck camper here~ For my best, i need lightweight, small, all in one, easy to contral, many windows, can be alone for a long time.
i think LanceLite 835 is my best~i study in macau. i always stay between Hong Kong and Macau. So save gas and easy to contral is the most important~ that's why i need lightweight~
Okanagan all the way,,,,it's one of the oldest manufacturers,,,,good weight for it's size,,,,,reasonably priced,,,,very good quality,,,,and best of all it's Canadian made,,,,like was said here before, if you wanna stay warm, "buy Canadian"!!.....................Steve...
Ah what does a Chevy driver know? Actually I can add nothing to this thread other than what has already been said. You have to find the one that's right for you. I think most truck campers are pretty good rigs. You just have to find the one that has the features you're looking for.
We went with Lance primarily because of the proximity to the dealer. Truck campers are not easy to find here in the American Midwest for some reason.
We're pretty happy with the Lance. It's fun to sit and watch the snow fly while eating fresh baked bread from the oven.
We are really partial to Lance (see our name!). For us, quality and features such as being able to custom-order were a must. We bought our Lance 920 in January of last year and so far, we have taken it to the Jersey shore, Gettysburg, Pa. and up into Maine and Massachusetts. You get spoiled very quickly- having beds, fridge, bathroom all right there! Lance may cost more, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. Enjoy your RVing!

We own a 2002 Ford F-350/single rear wheel. With camper pkg./Lance rear wheel airbags. We also owm a 2003 Lance 920.
The one you own and are happy with. If you don't own one yet then it is the one that you can afford that is available for you to purchase and does what you want it to do.
Seriously, although there are quantifiable differences between campers (cost, type of construction, size of holding tanks, type of roof, etc.) the only response you’re likely to get from this question is a subjective one that is normally associated with the type of camper the responder owns.
