There are a bunch of us who attended the May Northeast Rally who will be going to Danforth Bay in Freedom, NH for Columbus Day Weekend (Oct. 8 - 11) to see the fall foliage. We have reserved sites in the safari field. Safari field sites have water and electric and there is a dumping station nearby. There are currently 3 more sites available in the safari field and a few other sites around the campground for those that would prefer those sites. The safari sites are $35 per night (2 adults/2 children) with a 3-night minimum for the holiday weekend. We will be getting together for a few meals, campfires, and other activities. Everyone is responsible for making their own reservations. If you would like to join us, please get in touch with either Dawn or Debbie at Danforth Bay and tell them you are with the RV.net group and also let me know so I can keep track of who's going and how many sites we still have available. Sites are going fast so if you are interested, please book as soon as possible. The campground website is www.danforthbay.com

The list of attendees to date is in my signature. We're looking forward to a great weekend!

Can Mark & I 'play' together at Danforth, can we, can we?

I've played w/Auburn Maine firemen, and Jersey City NJ firemen, and Brick NJ firemen, and Woodbridge NJ firechiefs...

Sure Gerry, you can play together. We'll let you boys start the campfire and put it out too if you are good.

I think everyone that has reserved so far has received a confirmation by now. There are a total of 8 interested parties at last count.

ARRRGGGHHH!! I wish I had known about this sooner. Stupid me bought concert tickets to see John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lawrence & Jeff Bates for 10/9, not realizing it was Columbus Day weekend. Oh, well, I'll be there in spirit!

The safari field is a great choice as Danforth Bay runs most of the live entertainment out of the pavilion. Last year they ran a Halloween costume contest and Karaoke, plus Halloween site decorating awards from the pavilion. Two bathhouses are a tiny walk from the Safari sites as well.

If you fill the safari, don't forget Umbagog alley (W/E) or the sites along Canobie Lake Road (many have sewer).

Kids will love Columbus Day weekend, they have tye-dye t-shirts, arts and crafts, archery, and other fun stuff for all ages. Last year the heated outdoor pool was still open.

We are seasonals here, this is a first class, well run camp resort. We look forward to meeting the RV.NET rally attendees !

Thanks Flintstones, but you may feel differently if one of us grabs that Karaoke microphone!

Steve and Karen glad you guys like the pictures, we had a great time there last weekend. It only rained on Friday a little bit when setting up. The nights were a little chilly a nice warm fire solved that problem. We are going again in August, can't wait. I received my reservation in the mail for October so all set see everybody then.
