I have never had a North Face so I can't make a direct comparison. Always was a Coleman die-hard until I saw the Eureka Extended Stay. I am now a Eureka girl for sure!! I have only had one issue when the wind damaged a pole and customer service was top notch! They sent us a replacement free of charge and did not question us at all. We have camped in our Eureka in strong storms and never had a problem with leaks. As someone mentioned, it doesn't warm up like some tents do on cool nights because of the circulation--however, on a warm night, that's a definite advantage. Never had problems with zippers, rips, etc, either. Overall, I would give Eureka outstanding reviews. They are a great company!

Thanks for everyone's input! We ordered the Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 from Sunnysports.com (quoted a lower price at Moab sports, and they honored it, plus took 5% off), and it should be arriving next week!

Happy travels!
