I was over at Giant RV this weekend and my wife wandered into a new WW Class C RWS 3400 and of course fell in love. I told her about all the WW news I have been reading on the company and it really surprised her. The one interesting part is the salesman and sales manager both said that WW might be owned by Giant RV here shortly and not to worry about the warranty since Giant would take care of it. Easy to say when you want to sell a unit, hard to accept when you are paying over 120K for a new MH knowing you have to purchase an extended warranty and hope they honor it right away.

Does anyone know or heard anything about Giant RV assisting WW or maybe purchasing them entirely?

JR, i'm with you all the way. I've only had my Warrior since Dec. but it has been a great experience with this big 5ver. Also not trouble free but that is expected from something so big put together in a few days. Biggest problem so far a water leak on the back side of the water heater 10 minute fix.

What most are forgetting is this is a forum where most of the people come that have problems and to complain about their problems. I believe Warrior is the most popular out there, check the old post LE Ownersthere are 91 and counting LE owners on this board alone and only a few complaints.

Gotta agree. I had one minor leak problem in the shower and that was that. Fixed in a day. I just got off a 5 day trip across the Denali Hwy (unpaved and dirt for 120 miles) and the only thing wrong was that I left the frikken window open and got dust every were. The unit is great, very liveable and of good quality. When I get ready for a bigger one, I'll seek WW out even if I have to have it shipped from the lower 48.

I knew it!!We should of seen the signs! We ordered ours in Feb got it in may and the guy doing the walk thru was really quick and did not want to address any problems they had also layed off four workers which we thought was strange one day our salesmen was there the next gone. Unfortunately we were nervous and it was our first rig ever so we had NO idea what to look for. After our three hour drive home and having to stop three or four times because an outside shower door popping open and our shower head was flying down the freeway. We decided to do our own walk thru our second airconditioner would not blow cold and our main TV would not turn on. NOT A BIG DEAL, until we tried to get in for warranty work. We knew things probably would need to be fixed. But we never realized we would just have to hope warranty work would get done of course we were told the A/c s were checked and ran and they were fine during our walk thru. They would not turn them on for us and said all had been checked(our mistake we should of been pricks about it and made him run everything) I think they knew what was going on and wanted to get this darn rig off there lot before they were stuck with it or stuck with having to fix it. It is a beautiful rig, and we finally got the warranty work done three weeks later, THREE DAYS BEFORE THEY SHUT WW DOWN. We made lots of calls and when warrior did pick up the phone they were really nice and did help. One of the reasons we bought the rig was because of the warranty and now we maybe stuck with a rig with no Warranty!! It is a shame but its our problem now, sure there maybe some people that expect WW to do back flips and redo there rig for things probably they caused. We just wanted what was promised. Hopefully they can pull it together, they do have the best looking rigs around. and we did put our whole savings down on the darn thing.. I just hope it wasn't a 48,000 mistake

On a side note, we bought an RWT in April, coming from an FTL and love it!! Regardless of all the WW issues, it has been great so far, and so was Giant. Matter of fact, i'm sitting outside of it typing this from Seven Feathers, getting ready to head over to Coos Bay in a few hours!!

Has anyone heard any news on WW? Did they reopen today as they said they were going to? I heard today that they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week.

For many reasons I hope things work out for Mark and his company.

I'll second that! Weekend Warrior stood behind their product for me when it was well out of warranty. They've been upstanding about everything and always have done right in the end. Could be hard times for them but I'll stand behind them. No band wagon bashing here.

If they had it would be public record and someone would have posted the documents by now.

Exactly!
The news would be in the wild within hours of a filing with the Court for protection unless done at the end of business for that day.

Not sure! We have a FS30 (2005) and have some repairs that are needed - we purchased the extended warranty on it at the time of purchasing it from Giant RV in Irvince, California. However, we have been told that this is handled totally seperated from WW all together. At this point we are stuck with this rig! and I have been looking thru Craigslist, RV Trader and Recycler and see lot's of them up for sale at reduce prices! certainly not a sellers markert! and talk about taking a bath on them! thanks Zieman and Warrior for passing this onto the consumer. This is our 2nd Toy Hauler - with the 1st one being a Carson Toy Hauler.
