Go to Remco's Web Site and put in the information about your car. Remco says it is towable as is. However, they also say it is AWD, so that may not be accurate.

Ford says it CANNOT be towed. Only the Edge and Escape can be towed.

Looked at one in Mission ,TX . The salesman got the owner's manual and it said you could tow 4 wheel down both the awd & 2wd. Always look at the owner's manual on new cars about towing.

The 2008 Ford Taurus/Taurus X is towable, four wheels down! The only warning/caution in the owners manual is to NOT TOW the AWD version USING A DOLLY. The predecessor to the Taurus/X, the Freestyle with the CVT was not towable. I've only towed mine a short distance so far, about 40 - 45 miles, but everything performed as advertised.

Hi. I don't believe that this is the Ford site. It IS about ford vehicles, but it looks more like the Motor Home Magazine towing guide.
