How did the f150 do pulling your trailer around the canyon?I have been wanting to take the trip, but wasn't sure how the f150 would handle the hills.

It pulled fine. I have 3:73 gears, and 18" rims, and if kept at 65 or less the gas mileage was not bad at all. Even doing 70 and 75 MPH it still did no less than 8.5 MPG. The winds where bad, I mean really bad. A few times it caught me off guard. Nothing really bad, probably scared the other drivers more than me. But it kept on rolling. I would like to make the trip again, but this time go to the North rim, and the North Eastern states.

How does "Getting our kicks." sound for a new name?
Next trip maybe to the North Western States. But we will be staying only a few days at each spot, instead of base camping then running all over. The Grand Canyon is great, and the Trailer villiage was nice, but I think maybe 4 or 5 days would have been better than 7 or 8.

We were there in May. What a fantastic site. Of course we had snow every day.
