I live in Az and still camp with my family during the extreme summer heat. Does anyone have any recommendations on tents that may help make it more comfortable? I know it’s asking a lot of a product, but any little bit will help.

Depending on the size of your tent, you may be able to install something like an EZ-Up awning over the top of it, in order to provide shade. EZ UP

Nothing short of air conditioning in the tent will be comfortable when it's 110° during the day and 90+ at night.

There are a couple of recent posts on this same subject. Try searching for things like A/C or keeping cool (or just scrolling down).

a personal water misting bottle will drop air temps a remarkable amount in dry desert heat. You can probably find inexpensive plant misters at wally world and such. There are also units which also incorporate a small battery powered fan (e.g personal mister). Try a google search!

The EZ up idea helps a bit (trees are better), leave the rain fly off helps air flow. If you have a generator a swamp cooler blowing on you works. The swampy brand swamp cooler can run on battery power so you don’t need a generator. If you have a water hook up a misting system works wonders but you would not want to put it inside the tent. Take a trip anywhere above 7000 ft and you will be cooler….
