I needed to hang privacy curtain on the bunks of the trailer from the ceiling. I have tried sticky tape, liquid nails, nothing worked. I guess I am going to have to drill and attached with screws. Any reason I shouldn't do this?
The original privacy curtians in my last trailer were screwed to the ceiling. When I replaced them, I did the same. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do the same.

Ours is on a track that is mounted to the ceiling with screws. The curtain is hung on nylon rollers and slides back and forth. It also has a tie on one side to keep it out of the way.

You may want to use a hollow wall anchor rather than just screws. The ceiling material is just a skin, screws may hold for awhile but the hollow wall anchors would be a better choice.

I have a rear bunkhouse model. I plan on getting a set of short curtains for each bunk and threading a bungee cord through the fold at the top of the curtains where the rod goes. I will then stretch the cord across the opening a couple inches from the ceiling and at the bottom of the top bunk and securing the bungee. That way each bunk has its own set of curtains and the only screws are used to attach the bungees. If someone gets hung up in the curtain getting in or out of the bunk the cord will stretch in lieu of ripping screws out of the ceiling holding a curtain rod. I was thinking of using the plastic clips that bite onto the ends of the bungee gord and has a flat part with a screw hole to anchor it.

I created my own privacy curtain for our bunk area using a tension curtain rod (I bought one that would fit the 4-5 ft span I have in my TT bunk area). You can either purchase curtain panels, or I happened to find a rectangle tablecloth made out of this nice material that matched our interior, used rings with clips to hold the material (the rings just slide across the rod like a shower curtain would). We place the tension rod up near the ceiling, held by the two opposite walls, and it's all set..no screws or anything. It was very inexpensive too...the rod was about $5, the tablecloth was 4 or 5 dollars on clearance and I got the pkg. of 12 ring clips at the dollar store
Our bathroom is so small, it's difficult to go in there and change your mind, let alone, change your clothes. I installed a privacy curtain outside the bathroom door, to create a large changing area. Got all the parts from a local RV dealer and screwed it to the ceiling. There are pictures in my mods (link below).
