Maybe you guys can help save me some time. I'm looking for a 5th wheel toy hauler about 30ft or so. I like the open floor plans with no garage. Lighter weight to help save gas and not too heavy for my 2500 Dodge Diesel. For example, I like the WW SL3005 floor plan. What other Mfg's make a good quality unit around 30ft with an open floor plan.

KZ makes a model 25 that is just less than 30 feet with an open floorplan.

Thor Dutchman Wild Thing 28SGM5 is 29Ft 11in. Open floorplan no garage, no slides. Weight is approx 7800 empty. We pull ours with a 2500HD 6.0 gas and have had no problems.

The SL3005 is a nice unit, as is the Rage'n. Another one to consider is the Forest River WolfPack 295. It's not as fancy as the WW & Rege'n, but we've been happy with ours.

Love my Ragen FA3005.
TVs a 07 Duramax 2500HD.
Tows like a dream up an 8% grade@70mph no prob.

You might take a look at a Vortex 285FW (also Tahoe Transport 285). We just got home from a 3000 mile trip and had no problems. It is just under 30' total. We pull it with a 2006 Dodge 2500 diesel with no problem.

Also, check out Attitude. They have a 30' that seems to have a decent layout.
