The issue isn't telling an LEO about what is going on in RV.NET, it is addressing those on RV.NET that try to assert that an overloaded RV will get stopped and ticketed.

As we can see here, that doesn't happen. Rv's are not harassed by LEO's on the highways unless there is something very obvious or suspicious.

Tires and wheels are the most likely to cause traumatic failure if overloaded. Axles are more likely to fail gently. All other ratings are more guides as they assume many factors. That is why weight limits on highways are primarily commercial and related to revenue - not safety.
