I wish everyone a Happy Canada Day and hope you are all enjoying the holiday. Where I live it is a beautiful sunny day, not too humid or windy - a perfect day to be thankful for all the freedoms we enjoy.

We also wish everyone a "Happy Canada Day". We are out at the lake near Thunder Bay about to have all the family together for a dinner party with our mother age 92.

Weather is warm, not to humid, temp about 25C and the lake is calm. Children are in swimming, boats out on the lake, and we understand that some people have fireworks for this evening (gets dark about 11:00 p.m.) Now if we could only get rid of all the bugs...the day would be prefect.

I was with our Navy League Cadets from Vernon, down in Victoria for Tall Ships as part of our long weekend. Victoria set a record for high temp on Saturday, and that temp was taken at the Harbour where Tall Ships was. Happy Canada Day from the Okanagan Valley.

Was that you lot parading down Wharf street, doing a marching 'chant'?
It was a great atmosphere down there with all the ships & the people.

Happy Canada Day from Dawson City, Yukon. It may be raining but it did not dampen the spirit of the day. Where's the sun? Please send some our way. We left Calgary 10 days ago and it has rained nearly everyday.
