Amen!
To the OP, there is a new one out on the market. It is the ProQ. It is similar to a WSM, but can be used as a grill as well. And it is more portable then a WSM. But it is a charcoal unit, so I am not sure it meets your criteria.
I pre-ordered one, the Excel 20, back in May, should arrive here next week. I will share my thoughts after use. ProBBQ
Green Eggs are very nice units, just a little fragile for camping IMHO. But if I had one, I would find a way to bring it.
If I am not placing a grate over the camp fire, I use a Weber Smokey Joe (18" Platinum or my Jr) for grilling, along with a Weber Q (hooked to 20lb tank). And I have a Camp Chef stove with grill box, which I have not used yet.
Someone posted about going with an $18 grill. I tried that and almost gave up "grilling". They bake steaks. Got a Q and can enjoy a great seared steak again. Now have one at home and in the MH.
Good luck.

Good luck,
Bowtie,
I have a similar unit, just a little smaller and it uses either propane or charcoal and grills, broils, smokes and some other stuff as well. I like it. Alas, it's no longer made but I found one way over in New York at a RV dealer.

I am the one that mentioned the $18.00 grill. All I want is a way to grill hamburgers and hot dogs when I am in a hurry. If I am not in a hurry I will use the other grill with the briquettes.
I bought it mainly because of its size. It is about 15x18x23 inches.
Can anyone recommend a good gas grill that is not larger than that and sits on top of the picnic table? There is only two of us most of the time. 200 inches of cooking area is plenty big.
This one is small enough I can leave it in the trailer storage compartment. Anything else will have to be stored in the garage and loaded into the back of the truck every time we go camping for the weekend. I am trying to minimize the amount of stuff I have to load.

ThoughtI would repost my hookup to our 322FKS Jayco. Jayco supplys a hook up point on the awning side by the door for "Their" grill I wanted to hook up my babyQ as their grill was a cheap piece of tin. REpost:
Well after a lot of time I finally have all the stuff it takes to hook up my BabyQ to my gas line connection furnished by Jayco.
I bought the trailer earlier this year and part of the deal was for the dealer to hook up my BBQ.
This hookup turned into far more that one would think!
The first thing I did was to order online a 10' hose extention as Jayco's was not as long as I thought was needed. No problem but when I went to get the BBQ adapter (that is needed to attach to the hose) big problems as everyone out there wasn't compatable to what Jayco used and I had to have the dealer get one from Jayco (took 2 1/2 weeks).
Today with two more parts from Home Depot to connect the adapter to where the regulator was removed from my BabyQ I finally am able to cook!!! yippee!!!
I thought you might like to know this if you are going to try to hook up anything but "their" grill!

I know how ya' feel. Kind of brings a tear to my eye!
I tried "grilling" once...That was enough for me! Nothing BUT briquetes from that day forward........If I'm arriving at my destination around dinner time, the FIRST thing I do is light the briquettes......By the time I am set up, the coals are ready for cooking........Hamburgers/hot dogs are ready within minutes after set up!........
