Having lost Old Fella Saturday June 28th the sorrow is still very fresh in our hearts. Special needs dogs have a way of really getting into your heart and staying there. Relive the memories as they are precious and look forward to tomorrow as time heals the wounds of our hearts.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sounds like Chopper was a "once in a lifetime" dog.

As others have said, Chopper sounds like a one-in-a-lifetime pal...and it is obvious how much you loved him.

Your description paints a great story -- Chopper enjoyed his life with your family (probably equal to how much you enjoyed him).

Sorry for your heartbreak. Take care.

I am so sorry to read about Chopper. What a lucky dog he was and he knew it. Take care of yourself and think of the good times. You did the right thing. Hugs from Nova Scotia
