Just had the same thing happened to me. Had too buy 2 batteries. Before buying I plug the mh into 110 20amp service and run the inverter up to 25amps. Then used the mom switch and it cranked. It would not crank with just 10 amps. My gen would not even crank when my chassis batteries were not charged.

We have left ours parked outside for at least three months in the winter without starting it and it started right up when we went to check on it after it being snowed in. Not with the main engine battery switch on..Winne's are famous for this.

Thank you for all of the replies back about our Journey. The repair man is here now and I will keep you posted as to what he finds. I asked him if the new batteries were fully charged and he said yes.

Well we used our Coach Net and had the coach towed to Freightliner, . The only problem we had was that the last time we used the motorhome which was a week ago we pulled it head first into the morton building, then when the wrecker came, the brakes were locked on because of loss of air, we had a tow driver that couldn't get under the MH to drop the drive shaft so needless to say we had quite an afternoon, so about 3 1/2 hours later with us helping we got the MH out and hooked up to truck. We are thinking in the future we will back the MH in building just in case this would ever happen again. Freightliner is closed to day and only working 1/2 days on Sat and Sun so it will be Monday before they can get to it. When we got to Freightliner and checked the outside of the MH, the mudflap in the back was damaged being that it drug on the ground all the way, my husband asked the tow driver if we should take it off and the guy said that wouldn't be a problem, the wiring harness that you hook your toad up to was also shredded, we contacted Coach net right away and they were very nice and said they would handle it. As of right now we are very please with Coach net, that towing bill in it self paid for many years of joining.

I had the same issue, turned out to be the neutral safety switch in the gear handle. Got the clicking, no start. If the switch is bad the rig wont start as it thinks its in gear... was that your problem?

It is still at Freightliner and as of about 1:00pm they still hadn't gotten it in the shop yet. As soon as we hear what the problem was I will let all of you know. Thanks again for all of the replies back.

Tuesday we got a call from Freightliner and they said the problem was one of the solenoid. They are having a new one sent and we can pick up the motorhome tomorrow. Thanks for the replies to my post, you just gotta love this Open Roads Forum!
