I had the dealer raise mine. Mine was nose high too, really helped. Now have good clearance for bed rails too.

i have a 2008 jayco eagle 341RLQS and my trailer has the jake plates on the springs mine has 2 more holes on the springs and one in the center on the rocker i tried to raise mine using bottle jacks and placing a floor jack under the axle but i could not get the bolts to come out of the springs so i guess i will be taking it back to the dealer so he can do it not sure if i was doing something wrong but i need to raise my trailer to clear the bed rails of my new dodge truck

whiteeye42,

The bolts have to be driven out using a punch so that you don't mess up the threads. Not that hard. They have splines on the head/shoulder end to prevent them from rotating because the nuts are not tightened all the way so that the springs can move up and down without wearing out the hanger plates. When re-installing the bolts, you will need to drive the splines into the new holes.

I have an '08 Designer 35RLTS and had the dealer raise it for me. Gained right about 1 3/4" ... just what I needed !!
It's a 2 hour job at the dealer ... pure labor.
The key is lifting the entire trailer off the ground so the tires are at least 2" off the ground. If you can do this, then it's a matter of 10 bolts per side ... take the wheels off ... support the axles, take out the bolts ... carefully lower axles into place, and replace the bolts ... make sure your brake wires are loose enough first!
Keep in mind your shocks will not be long enough once it's lifted. MorRyde told me the shocks are not really needed with this suspension, so I left mine off. Can't tell the difference !!
Would I try it myself ... probably, But for $200 I chose to let the dealer do it so there's no question if something should happen down the road.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I've looked it over and it doesn't look to be very hard to do. I may give it a shot. I think I can get access to the truck garage where I work and use the truck lift to lift my camper. If not I'll have my dealer do it. They talked me out of having it done last time I was there.

Thanks

Why did your dealer say not to do it?

Probably because it was Saturday and my appt was at 12 noon. They close at 3 and I was there for other warranty items to be fixed as well. I told them when I made my appointment that I wanted it done. I don't think the service dept realized it was the Mor/Ryde susp until he looked underneath. I let him talk me out of it. He said it was a major undertaking to raise and I didn't know any better at the time. I do now!!

Thanks

I have the Mor-Ryde in my Cameo, and just dropped it off at the dealer for some warranty work. While there, I asked....and was told it was about a 20 minute job...only the wet bolts need to move...nothing on the axle itself....just moving the leaf spring connection points. So, I added it to the list. Might as well adjust the brakes when the wheels are off the ground too!
