Of course! We just got back from towing our Palomino Yearling from here in Columbia Mo. to Niagara Falls N.Y. through Canada. Like tom kat said though, make sure you're up to date on your maintenance.

Pulled mine from Washington to Arizona and back in March of 2006 and back to Arizona in May of 2006 when I moved back. Nary a problem.

And from AZ to WA round trip last May, June and July.

2 Years ago I traveled from Ohio to California and back.

last year I spent 2 weeks in Florida in the spring.

and 3 weeks in the summer Ohio to Maine.

Keep the axles lubed and the tires pumped up and enjoy your trip.

I went to southern California what part are you visiting?

No sweat! Speaking of sweat, what route are you taking. I highly recommend a northern route if your planning your trip during the hotter part of the desert southwest's year (June thru September).

Thanks to everyone, I'm heading to southern California, family matters, in late July, so I must use rout 40 (66) through the dessert, I will travel at night most of the trip, witch is a round trip at that.

Have fun, I love camping along the way each night.

I would highly recommend taking two things with you:

make sure your lug nut wrench and jack work on your camper before you leave home. You might even want to test-change a tire in your driveway.

take a portable air inflator for your tires, and before you leave each day, CHECK YOUR AIR PRESSURE and top off as needed.

have fun!

Before leaving on your trip, please be sure to have your tow vehicle's oil changed, and check those fluids daily - carry a spare bottle of antifreeze/water in the event you overheat, and check/replace the belts as needed.

It can be a beautiful trip - enjoy what you can en-route.
