I live about 5 miles from KY Lake, and I've gotta say - it's not too bad! Lots of CG's to choose from, Civil War sites everywhere, festivals and lots more to do and see.

But, having said that, I also like to go places that are totally different from what I've got here. I would love to pull the PUP to the Sierras or some of the other cool places I've seen pictures of that you guys have posted.

I live where I want to live. We actually chose this location over the others which were on the screen. I do not worry about ANY natural disaster, and I'm within a short drive to a lot of campgrounds/RV parks/fishing lakes.
I pray for everyone who lives in the midwest (who have sufferred from the floods and tornadoes).

We live, if you want to call it that in SO CAL. We have traveled to and through the midwest and have met the friendliest people ever. Slam them? You probably have never been out of this overcrowded rat race. Yup, I can slam CA cause I am a native of this place. Why do I stay...cause I have a great job and 5 years or so to go.....after that WE ARE OUT OF HERE!

Out of 7 siblings, 1 daughter, SIL and grandchild, 7 have left SO CAL......snow, floods, hail (big) have not changed their minds. They are happier than ever. You slammers ought to consider
getting to know places before passing judgement. Stay in SO CAL...ya belong there!

No one in their right mind would want to move to Western Washington, All it ever dose up here is RAIN,RAIN. That is what it's doing right now.
We also have those really big and bad Earthquakes, Oh yes every once in awhile one of our big Mountains blow up. It's really not a very safe place to live, so better not come this way.

isn't this tornado season in the midwest? I question whether it is the best time for Rv'ing in that part of the country.

Much more rain than tornadoes at the moment. That will peobably change near the end of the summer.

Now why did I think that Joe would show up and start a Wal-Mart thread inside of another one?

Nice thing about Nebraska is that northern Neb. looks like southern Neb. and eastern looks like western Neb. except that parts of the state has more trees than others. So there is no need to travel long distance to go camping, all our camping is within 30 miles. And it is pretty flat getting there which means I don't have to burn much of that $4.539 per gallon diesel getting there.

Nice try but I have been their and it is a beautiful area and believe it or not I even liked Seattle. I don't think I would like to live there but it's a nice area to visit.
