Got a ten cup coffee pot this past week for the motor home at Walmart. They had several. The one we got is made by Mr Coffee. It has a stainless steel insulated carafe, no hot plate and it shuts off when brewing is complete. Nice size (not too big)

We use a Black and Decker 10 cup Thermal Select with the carafe...it's great no hot plate and the carafe keeps the coffee warm all morning...shuts off when done brewing.

Not sure where we got it...could have been Walmart...but they change vendors faster than the speed of light.

8-cup electric Percolator works just fine and takes up a lot less space. Other than that, wine works fine as a substitute too.

If those are the only size coffee pots you can find, you've not been looking hard enough. Between the hardware, camping store, coffee specialty shops, cooking store, and catalog suppliers I can find pots, filter brewers, presses, espresso makers, percolators, manual drip pots, and automatic drip machines in sizes ranging from one cup to 72 cups, and thats not getting into the big multi-gallon industrial machines.

If you are looking at one brand, of one type, at a mass merchandiser, you are going to find only those models they think will sell high volume, that they can get at a deep cut from the supplier. It is the way such stores work.

My wife and I found an old RevereWare 'Dripolator' at a garage sale - made in the 40's and is essentially a 'non electric' drip coffee maker. We use the pre made coffee packets (Folgers) which make clean up a breeze. We can make drip coffee without firing up the generator when we boondock. It is built like a double boiler and fits well into the cabinet of our 'B'.

Contoure is one of the brands at Camping World pricey but the quality looks good. Available from other sources also. Good Miles

and not I don't work for Gevalia... Just like the deals!!! Oh and the coffee too...

Weather they track you by address or email, getting the second pot hasn't worked for me. So, what's your secret with getting more from them?

I have son, daughter, grandchildren, friends. I guess I could get 15 of 'em! Kind of like the da** government coupon thing for the Digital converters. They say they sent mine but I never received them, and they wouldn't talk to me about sending again, so reordered them in son's name, since he doesn't need them. DW has gotten three or four of these things. One in her name, one in my name (we have different last names), one in each of the cats names .....

However, we discovered that neither of the cats nor I drink coffee, only DW and she really prefers tea. But Gevalia has been good to us.

Better yet, a French Press that is a steel thermos. We use one in MH and since my coffee is always better in the MH than at home I just switched at home too. French press brings out great flavours and the thermos will keep it piping hot for hours. NO more burnt coffee

Of course a nice Heffeweizen in the morning ain't so bad either...

Better yet, the Nissan FRench Press incorporates a stainless-steel thermos into it's design. You brew and press the plunger down all within an insulated thermos. Mine works great.
