It could be worse...the salesman could have told the owner the "sure, it'll tow anything, even a 5th wheel!

I disagree with the "WD help" idea. What the guy needs is a bigger tow vehicle. That Honda is inadequate for a 22 foot trailer, WD or no, sway control or no.
I am constantly amused by the "band-aid" approach to RVing. If there is a problem, don't FIX it, put a band-aid on it. WD hitches with sway control are more often than not "band-aids"!

I've seen MUCH worse than that with 3/4 ton trucks and 5th wheels. A 22 foot trailer is more than likely not that heavy so should be within the limits of the truck but it's not very well set up.

I saw this going S on I85 outside of Charlotte yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't capture the entire set up, but I think you can clearly see that this Honda Ridgeline needs some WD help.

The trialer was ~22 ft toy hauler with a fold down ramp in the rear... I wonder what was inside.

That's really scary down in the rear light on the front and no sway or WD so the first time it bounces and starts to sway you have little steering control. I hope his break away works and has a good battery so he doesn't kill some innocent family.

Well call me crazy, but it doesn't look all THAT bad to me compared to what I've seen on the highway.

O.K. your crazy If I see a rig like that I speed up and get in front and stay there cause I don't want to be behind it when it wrecks.

No, you aren't crazy. I don't think it looks all that bad, either. I have seen worse, and I have driven worse. Nobody died.

Looks dont mean much. You dont really know any of the specifics of that Honda/trailer to begin with. Ive towed 600# tongue in WC on the Trailblazer I used to have, Chevy said 400# WC tongue was the limit. It "looked" a WHOLE lot worse than that Honda did. Not that Im necessarily recommending it, but I got where I was going every time.

Ditto, Nice looking rig. He's probably within weight limits and with a good brake controller should be well in control.

Those 'trucks' have very soft rear suspension. It wouldn't surprise me if he is within his weight ratings but the truck just can't hold up the load cause the mfgr made it ride like a car not a truck. Being 'within the weight limits' doesn't necessarily mean you're 'good to go' with your rig though....
