Is it rude..or just me being grumpy?
Last night, around Midnight, we were awakened by super loud fireworks next to our bedroom window. Scared the living******out of my hubby and thought someone was shooting him in his sleep. LOL.
(My kids at least sleep through the diplay of explosions.)
Anyway, Are fireworks allowed in RV parks? I realize it is the 4th of July, but isn't that a bit rude to light them off in the middle of the night next to other RV'rs? Maybe it's just me.

Rude of others, yes. Allowed, maybe/maybe not. Is it gonna happen no matter what, yes. It is the 4th. Fireworks are going off everywhere.

I live miles out in the country and still here them all the time.

In a few days it will all die down. Don't sweat it.

Rude... absolutely... but really no different than neighbors at home shooting them off until 1:00 am.
You would have to check your park rules.... most parks have quite hrs posted. Say something to the mgr.

It's a holiday weekend. People are celebrating and having fun.

Yes, it is rude and should normally be addressed. But on the 4th of July holiday, New Years, etc., I say let them play.

It may be rude, against park rules, and maybe even the law, but this is the 4 of July, our nations birthday. Sure wish I had some to fire off.

There is no single set of rules for RV parks but about 99% of them have quiet hours that start at 10:00 PM. It's not only rude, stupid and mean, it's PROBABLY against the rules.

Be glad you are not down south.. like on New Years the thing to do it fire of real guns in the air. And the shells do come down and kill people. Speaking of RGV Texas.
Just another reason we stay out of campgrounds on major holidays and let them be had by the hard working locals who need to let off some steam. We can go and enjoy them during the week when they are back at work.

I hate fireworks. When DS #2 was a baby, our neighbors mother smuggled some north from Fl....one of the roman candles shot off into the audience. My friends dad was holding my baby..I threw my body over them to protect him
