Waiting for delivery of our Roo hybrid camper..and just noticed a sale on overstock of a tt clothesline that connects to the bumper with two poles and extends out away from the tt. Wondering if any expandable owners have these and/or if they will work on a roo. Our roo bunk end extends out over the rear bumper...so I am not sure if this set up will work. replies appreciated.
thanks

I have seen them on 5th Wheelers and regular TT, but like yourselves our rear bed would not allow one of those to work properly. Now, maybe they have one that isn't as tall, but you would have to measure that for yourself.
I just use a clothes line and use the trees or worse case my mirrors to the bumpers.
Good luck!

No, won't work with the tip-outs. They are pretty tall and the angle is steep. My sister has the exact model you link to on her TT, and there's no way it would come close on my Shamrock (Roo twin).

thanks..I was afraid of that. For anyone looking for that type of clothesline...they are on sale at overstock.com for half the price the rv dealers sell them for.

I did make a hanger using the pole which hold the rear bunkend up using EMT pipe supports and rope. I just roll it up and put it in a tube when closed up. The pictures are at this address (http://www.gallery.pstartech.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=73318)Eric

We hang the clothes under the rear bunk so that it cannot be seen from the street as our campground is pretty strict about hanging laundry. While it does not provide much sunshine the towels are usually dry by the end of the day. Right now we are using the shock cord that holds the canvas in place. I will probably need to replace them with a larger diameter up by next season.

One of the accordian style clothes dryers works well for us and collapses to fit behind the sofa in or Roo. About $6 at Wally World. You can put it anywhere needed for the clothes to dry.
