What does everyone do or maybe there is a trick to this, but at our last sewer hook up, the top of the drain was a little higher than our dump value, so I had to dump the tanks and then pick up the hose to have the "unmentionables" go down the drain. I went to the local Wal-mart and bought a sewer line hose holder whiched helped a little, but I still had to pick up the hose to make sure everything went down.

Is there a trick that maybe of have helped or am I stuck, "picking up the hose"...

Thanks...

Dan

The trick is simple, start with your left hand when you pick up, then right. Alternate between the two, left, right, left right.

While it is not convenient the answer is to run you unit up on blocks so the outlet is higher than the dump.

I guess I am still a rookie, I did not even think of that. Next time I will have to check that out, I also noticed that the campsite sewer connections where a bit high, they must of been out of the ground a good 8 inches which I thought was very high. O well, at least my sewer hose is still new and did not have to worry about holes.

Try the Sewer Solution. Do away with 3" sewer hose and will dump up hill.

If you're talking about a "sewer line" just leave it alone and it'll go down from pressure ahead of it next time you dump. If you're talking about the "dump station" pick it up and move on. good luck / Skip

the trick is to throw away the stinky slinky and buy either a sewer solution or macerator pump. makes a dreadful job, almost fun.

Yes Sir, macerators are fun, they turn a 15 dollar job into a 200 dollar job, and they can be dual functioning, just put a nozzle on the end of the hose and you can fertilize the front lawn while emptying you black tank.
