We used the propane stove on the side of our CK19 Travelstar and cooked hamburgers and hot dogs. Ate them in the camper, too hot ouside, plan to sleep in the camper tonight. Sometimes we have to camp in the driveway to get away without going anywhere.

Wow! It's comforting to know we aren't the only ones working at home, but anticipating the next trip. Cdm74 - we do the Holland State Park at the beach every year, so know the sand you're dealing with!

We seldom go out on Holidays - way too crowded for us and the State CG has now jacked it's fee by 10 dollars a nite for Momorial Day, Labor Day, and July 4th holiday...
I spend the last few days installing a new HD Dexter suspension with the EZ-Flex coupler... Also straightened a bent tongue jack lower unit (Barker) that I had laying around for a few years...

Another one home here. Washed and waxed the TV, washed the trailer, stained and sealed a burner cover for more "counter" space. Washed and repacked some of the bedding for an upcoming trip to the beach in a couple weeks.

Tried a holiday trip over Memorial Day, that will be the last. Took a road trip to VT. and visited a number of campgrounds, needed a couple more choices for weekend trips. Beautiful day up there...

I'm with you all on the holiday camping. Every time I'm tempted, I just remember the state of the restrooms/showers the last time we tried. Cp1971- congratulations on the arrival of your new daughter! We adopted our daughter as well. In fact, we started camping as a family after she arrived. PM me if you'd ever like to share stories on adoption. It's an amazing experience!

We're cleaning and stocking this weekend for next weekend. We'll be going to a local KOA for a quick outing and to get our recalled Dometic fridge serviced. At least they have a pool and the grill will be used a lot.
