I have an Aventurer, to wash most of the roof I just open the front excape hatch and wash most of it from there, the rest I get from a latter.

I'll bet that your stainless roof is aluminum or since you are that far north, aluminium.

Ah.

No need to be sorry. I was just chomping at the bit to see a pic of a stainless steel RV roof

I agree that you ought to be very careful using a pressure washer. Although it takes a little bit of time, I find that the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are just that....magic. You put a little water on them, and they can clean almost anything. I just cleaned my camper by a quick wash with soap and water, and then spread out the Mr. Clean job for about 10-15 minutes a day until it was done. Now it's as shiny as it's ever been!

I climb up on the roof and use Dawn dishwashing liquid soapy water and let it soak for a few min, wash. Then finish with a new coat of Turtlewax on my fiberglass roof/sides. This helps on future bug splats, the quick trip thru the car wash bay gets um off with light pressure.

If you can find a product called "Spray Nine" it is amazing. Put some of the liquid into a spray bottle, or sometimes it comes in one, spray it on, let it sit for a few seconds, and with a very light brush and a rinse bugs and mildew come off with only 10% of the effort.
