For those of you who store their HTT someplace other than home, how do you go about washing it? Do you all just wash it at home before taking it back to the storage yard?

Wash at home and then take to storage. Most storage places won't allow washing onsite.

Thanks - that is what I thought, but wanted to be sure. This will be my first time storing.

Wash before storage. That's what we were doing this afternoon. We have cleaned the inside at the storage when the weather was stormy.

Unless the HTT is filthy, I use a wax that cleans at the same time. Does a great job and also removes those black marks

I wash the roof in the spring - and the sides if I have times. I usually wash before trips. maybe twice a year

We are lucky enough that our storage place has a wash bay "for money" and a dump "for free" so we can wash there. However, I have paid my dealer $39.99 and they will wash the whole thing top to bottom spotless.

I take my truck to the "do it yourself" places for washes and it cost me $11.00 by the time i'm done; so to pay the dealer $39.99 to wash my 23 foot camper doesnt seem like a bad deal.

We wash it AFTER storage. I don't really care if it's dirty in the storage yard. I like it clean when I'm camping or on the road.
