I been reading the reviews on these two parks and I was trying to decide between the two. Never been to either of them and wondered what is the areas like. I have been looking at the reservation page and need help. I was planning a week but what do you do? Do you wait till the whole week is available or do you reserve every night till you get your week you want? On the site now it says taking reservations up till june 5th to get the next night does it come available at midnight or ???? Thanks for any info and recommendations Mike

If you have to have full hookups and a pool for the kids (like I do) then Topsail is your only choice. St. Andrews is very nice but is 30A and water only.....
We love both places. They are both nice and you'll have a great time at whichever park you choose.
Topsail is a more "upscale" resort with a pool, shuffleboard and sewage hookups at each site with cable. The down side is that if you want to go to the beach, you have to take the tram they have which pickups on the hour or ride your bike. No parking at the beach.
St. Andrews, you can camp on the lagoon with waterfront campsites, the access to the beach is easier as you can you drive your own car to the beach or ride your bike. You can kayake, fish, the best snorkling ever. They have a fishing pier. They have a "gator" lake that you can walk the trails.
We camp all year round at both places. They are differan but either one you choose, you will enjoy.
