Yesterday we brought our FR SV233T home to get it ready for our up coming trip. I have to back it into the driveway and while doing that I scraped the skid bar. I have scraped the bar before but not like this. It was too late to stop as the damage was done. Not only did I gouge the concete but I bent / twisted the skid bar so now it is about 30 degrees out from straight. The bar is 'V' shaped and welded to the I-beam frame. The lower portion of the I-beam is slightly distorted but I can't tell if I did any damage above that as the bottom of the trailer is enclosed. Do you think I have a concern ? Should I have it looked at ?

That is what skid bars are for. I doubt you did any damage. You might want to replace the bar with a wheel.

You say the lower portion of the I beam is distorted. Sounds like you bent the skid bar to the side, while turning as backing in? If so the distortion is probably just on the lower lip and didn't transfer to the vertical or the upper edge of the beam and you'll be OK. You can check the other edges with a straight edge.

A wheel might give give you a bit more clearance. This is why a lot of people look into flipping the axles for more ground clearance.
