Hi guys and gals,

I have a Cougar 310SRX, I see two clasps on the top of my ramp door that look to be for some kind of supports As you can see by the pic here, my ramp door comes down then a black ramp flips out from the top. The clasp looking things are underneath the ramp door close to the end of the door.

Are there some kind of aftermarked ramp supports that i can pick up ?

I think this photo might be of more use in determining the use of the clamps. I wonder if its designed to be used as a something for table legs? I'm clueless as to what its use it those. Email Cougar and ask.

Thanks for posting that pic. Yes it's those clasp looking things about 6-8 inches below the rubber feet on the door.

we looked at these trailers when we were shopping around & the ones we saw came with leg supports that go into those fittings on the door. If they didn't come with the trailer somewhere, call your dealer & let them know they are missing.

I bought my new 310srx in aug of 2007. First time I used the LEG SUPPORTs.......bamm.....they bent over and bent one of the holding tabs on the ramp. HAVE NEVER USED THEM SINCE. I just put some 2x8 blocks under it to give me some clearance. I load a harley softail in/out of it. I hauled it to FL from Mi this winter for 2 months. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! no issues. As a matter of fact, leaving for Niagara falls in it on tuesday for a week. ENJOY! I certainly have.

I used mine a few times and said enough with that.
Go to your local target/wallyworld and get a aset of Plastic Bed Risers.

They look like this.

The round rubber bumpers on the top of the door fit into them just perfect. They also have a larger contact patch with the ground than the factory metal stands.

So, now what to do with the clamps??? Removeable Helmet rack, basketball hoop, hummmmm???
