I receive offers from Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service all the time and just throw them away, but since we are planning our first longer then weekend excursion I was actually readying the last offer.
Are yall using this service? Had good results, worth the money, only $89.
I have had this service for a number of years. I keep the service because its good for all your vehicals, not only your RV. Locked myself out a couple of times, and my wife has called for flat tire, and dead battery. For me, its peace of mind. Hope this helps.
We have had it for 3 years now and almost used it last year. We were in the boondocks, they were ready to send someone out, but I was able to get things fixed myself. We are paying $109.00 a year now, but it is still piece of mind.
Don't like the view?? Then change it and Go Camping
Here is a copy of the Good Sam ERS benefits brochure and also, here is a copy of the Coach Net ERS benefits brochure to compare. Lay out the services and restrictions, side by side and you will see a big difference between the two. We have had excellent service from Coach Net, so we stay with them.

Same as above. We use them every year usually for a blow out
We have been happy with Good Sam, but once in a while they can stumble on the small things.
Last week I had a flat tire on my mother-in-laws car on I-80 south of Chicago. I called good Sam, fairly quick answer, said they guy would be there in 40 minutes. An hour later - with no one there yet - I got the follow-up call to verify the service. It was an automated call and I punched 2 to say no one there yet and sat on hold for 10 minutes! As I was about to hang up the service guy showed and changed the tire.
Took an hour and half, but I was back on my way - just PO'd about the lack of response to the no show answer to the follow-up call.
But we have used them a number of times and they have allways come through.

Run, Run, Run from anything from Good Sam, especially Good Sam ERS., unless you like sitting on the side of the road waiting for the service you bought to never show up. Been there, done that, not a good feeling. I'm going to tell everyone I can about Good Sam and maybe I can keep someone else from having to go thru what I went through with Good Sam.

Sorry you have had such terrible service from Good Sam, especially their ERS.
We have been ERS members for the past 15 years, and have only needed to use them one time. This was because the ignition key in our TOAD became jammed, and we couldn't start, stop, or drive the vehicle. From the time I placed the call to ERS, until the flat bed tow truck showed up was less than one hour, and the service was excellent.
I am not saying that some of the contractors for ERS leave something to be desired, but my experience with them has been acceptable.
I do have a running mate, who seems to have black cloud hover over his head, and in the past 12 years, has had to use ERS several times.
Once when excessive rain caused his D/P to sink on soft ground, once when he lost a fan bearing on his Cummins engine, and had to be flat-bedded from Watson Lake, YT to Whitehorse, YT (300 miles), once when he dropped the transmission on his old Gasser, and again when he threw a rod on the same rig. In each case, he was completely satisified with the service that ERS supplied to him, and is still a long time member of theirs.
So, I guess my point is, even though I have only had to call them out once in 15 years, I still keep my membership current for peace of mind, if nothing else.

We have been members for about 15 years and have had to use ERS maybe 6 times... each time was successful in getting us out of a jam. That's what it is for!
Maybe a better question is... you are out in East Podunk at 2 am and you break down. How are you going to get help. That answers it for me!
